The Kings Cnyon Rim Walk, Northern territory, Australia, starts with a tough climb. Right at the top of this climb we saw a couple of Spinifex Pigeons (Geophaps plumifera), rather running than flying away. A Red-browed Finch (Neochmia temporalis), my first Victorian Finch!!!, which we saw in the Serendip Sanctuary, Victoria, Australia, in March 2010. It was a group of est. 10 birds which visited the aviary on the search for food.

This Buff-Banded Rail (Gallirallus philippensis) we found in the Serendip sanctuary, Victoria, Australia, in MArch 2010. In the shade of some bushes it searched for food. It was in a big Walk-in cage.

Passing our way in Serendip Sanctuary, Victoria Australia this male Freckled Duck (Stictonetta naevosa) enjoyed the beautiful sunshine in March 2010. It has a green and ablue ring on the left foot and a Aluminium Ring on the right foot.
