Birds are my passion. Since I arrived in Australia in June 2008 I tried to make a picture of every bird I could see and specify.
My name is Frank Arnold and I live in Moorabbin near Melbourne, Australia.
I am working with a Canon EOS 400 D and theĀ Canon lenses EF-S 4.0-5.6 18-55 mm, EF IS 3.5-5.6 28-135 mmm, EF 4.5-5.6 100-300 mm and EF 1.8 50 mm I. Iam using a Manfrotto Monopod 680B and a Cullmann tripod. For macro pictures I am using an extension ring of 25 mm.

Hi Frank,
I loved your collection of photos of the Australian birds, I am an amateur but have got the bug for photographing Birds and nature. The bug has come from my Dad “Sauce” Ian Worcester, he runs Daintree River Wild Watch, I have been out with him on the Daintree River many many times and am drawn to it so much. If you would like to see some great photos, visit his website and have a look. My dad is an avid Bird Watcher and Bird Watching guide on the Daintree River with his 8 seater boat which enables him to go into other parts of the river the bigger boats can’t go, it’s fantastic. Happy snapping, hope you find many many more birds.
